CAVALCADE OF YEARS.... 1927          Noel born 20th December, in time for Christmas 1934          Started at Curran St School, Herne Bay, Auckland 1937          Choirboy - All Saints, Ponsonby (They dragged me                     to make up the numbers on Coronation Day (Geo.VI) 1940          November 14th.  My blackest day.  (Lost my Mother) 1941-44   Auckland Grammar (Public Service Entrance, School               Certificate, University Entrance, Higher Leaving                     Certificate 1945-49   Auckland & Canterbury Universities               (Accountancy studies) 1949          31st December - married Joyce Sefton 1950          19th April - Admitted to the Institute of  Chartered               Accountants (NZ)  Accountant and Production                     Manager for Adams Bruce Ltd                     Colin Winslow born 28th December 1952          Joyce Anne born 25th September 1957-60   Western Samoa Government Treasury, (Investigating                Officer, thenTreasurer, then Financial Secretary) 1960/69   Town Clerk & Chief Executive Officer,                    Borough of Pukekohe (South of Auckland)               Adrienne Eizabeth born 16th November, 1960 1963           Victor William born 1st December 1969/74   City Manager at Whangarei, New Zealand's northernmost city 1974       Noel at University of Canberra management course 1975          Returned to Canberra as Director & Lecturer at the next                     management course. Then was appointed Finacial Controller at                     the Macqarie University Union, Sydney.                     Returned to NZ to work for &G Insurance, then Government Life 1977          Town Clerk & Chief Executive Officer, Mt Eden, Auckland. 1982          Noel & Adrienne on Ireland, UK, & USA trip 1984          Noel & Joy divorced (still very good friends) 1985          Launched Noel Ashby & Associates Ltd, (Management              consultants specialising in local government work) 1987          Noel has a holiday in Honolulu.  Returns in time to accompany                  Lesley and her daughter Catherine to Sydney for a week. 1989          Triple heart by-pass (18th October)   Lesley came to nurse me                     afterwards and happily, stayed on - my best friend and               partner            1990          Sold management business. Holiday in Hawai'i with               stepmother - my 9 years older "Big Sister" Christina (Teenie)                 Started practice as a Chartered Accountant, Auckland. 1992        Noel's trip to Hawai'i, Washington DC (Smithsonian Institute)               & San Francisco. 2001          Noel and Dennis Fraser visit South Australia, sail up the               Murray River in paddlesteamer - MV Murray Queen. 2002          Noel sails fom Singapore in Superstar Virgo (78000 tons) to               Malacca, Langawi, Kuala Lumpur and Phuket 2003          Noel visits beautiful Norfolk Island with tour group 2004          Noel holidays in Hong Kong & China (Sekou, Shentzen,                     Guangzhou (Canton) 2006        Noel and Victor holiday in Queensland. Stayed at Coolangatta                     visited friends in Robina, and all the beaches up to and                     including Surfers and Sea World to the North 2007-2027   RESERVED
